The i Paper Article

The Trustees are aware of a recent article published in iPaper concerning comments attributed to an Imam associated with the mosque.
We wish to clarify that the views expressed are those of the individual and do not represent the mosque or its Trustees. We take this matter seriously and are currently reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The mosque remains fully committed to upholding its values and responsibilities as a registered charity. We are co-operating with the Charity Commission and will take appropriate action in line with our governance procedures.
We appreciate the community’s understanding and patience while this matter is being addressed.
