Our priorities for the future include:

Education and Quran Learning

• Expansion and improvement of the Quran and Madrassah programme
• Introduction of short Islamic courses open to all members of the community
• Quran Tafseer classes
• Arabic language courses
• Fiqh and Islamic studies programmes
• Improved educational resources and facilities

Subject to future fundraising and financial viability, the trustees aspire to make Quran education free of charge for children attending the Mosque.

Youth Development

• Weekly youth club and mentoring programme
• Educational workshops and leadership development
• Faith-based activities for young people
• Positive recreational opportunities for local youth

Elderly and Community Support

• Weekly elderly social mornings
• Community wellbeing programmes
• Coffee mornings for mothers and families
• Advice and support services for vulnerable individuals
• Social welfare initiatives to combat isolation and hardship

Community Café Initiative

The trustees intend to explore the idea and viability of the development of a daily community café using the Mosque’s kitchen facilities.

This initiative aims to:

• Create a welcoming community space
• Generate sustainable income for the Charity
• Increase community engagement
• Support future educational and welfare programmes

Mosque Development and Accessibility

The trustees recognise that the existing facilities must continue to evolve to meet the needs of a growing congregation.

Future aspirations include:

• Expansion of the Mosque building
• Additional educational and community facilities
• Improved accessibility for disabled worshippers
• Modern accessible toilet facilities
• Development of a state-of-the-art ablution (Wudhu) area
• Enhanced community spaces for learning and social welfare activities

Sustainability

The Mosque has already taken significant steps towards environmental sustainability through the installation of solar panels.

Future objectives include:

• Reducing energy consumption
• Improving environmental performance
• Investing in sustainable infrastructure
• Reducing long-term operating costs

Our Commitment

The Board of Trustees remains committed to serving the community with integrity, transparency and sincerity.

While the past year has involved significant governance and regulatory challenges, our focus remains firmly on the future: educating minds, supporting families, empowering young people, helping those in need and developing a Mosque that serves as a beacon of faith, learning and community service.

We thank Allah (SWT), our congregation, volunteers, donors and supporters for their continued trust and generosity.
